Artist Spotlight – Andrew Wyeth

Students, ages 5-8, will explore the work of American Realist (Regionalist) painter, Andrew Wyeth. We will discuss his contributions to the beauty of the United States and how he chose to perceive nature. We will use scenes from Ripley County to create a watercolor resist image. Students will get the opportunity to fall in love with the world around them, much like Andrew Wyeth did.
