The red carpet is rolled out and the screen is lit! It is almost time to experience the creativity and talent of filmmakers from Ripley County and beyond! With 15+ short films across multiple genres, paired each night with a Hollywood classic, the Ripley County Film Fest offers something for everyone. Each night’s lineup is thoughtfully grouped by genre, allowing attendees to choose the experience that best fits their interests and their family’s viewing preferences.

BREAK THE ICE is a family drama about a young couple, Paul and Julia, spending Christmas Eve with Julia’s family. However, her parent’s disapproval of Paul and their relationship puts a layer of tension on the night’s festivities. Paul is hoping to purpose to Julia, but feels he must gain her father’s trust and approval in order to make the proposal.
