POSITION OVERVIEW:
This role provides administrative support for the the payment of insurance death claims. You will be part of the Enterprise Claims Services team, responsible for handling escalated customer requests with limited phone interaction.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Understands annuity and life insurance products, procedures, and system capabilities
Pay claims according to business and compliance rules
Investigates client escalations utilizing system and contract provisions to provide resolution within established administrative and compliance guidelines.
Complete monthly quality review and reporting
Facilitate resolution of pending claims in a timely manner
Assume shared responsibility for all team goals, processes, and initiatives

QUALIFICATIONS
High School diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience preferred
Minimum 2 years’ experience in customer service. Prior experience in death claims, general rules and regulations preferred.
Ability to adapt and learn processes in an ever-changing environment
Demonstrates excellent organization and attention to detail
Strong PC and Software skills, especially Microsoft Office products
Demonstrates a professional communication style, both written and verbal
Expresses a customer orientation and desire to meet and/or exceed customer expectations
Works independently to meet individual productivity and quality goals
Participates as functioning team player with a consistent positive attitude and demonstrated positive behavior
Generates enthusiasm around change and adapts quickly when faced with challenges
