Position Summary:
Perform administrative duties for the Procurement & Value Engineering team.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.
•Maintain Item Master for indirect material items. Includes issuing new items andmaintaining accuracy and standardization of current items.
•Ensure compliance with sourcing contracts and supplyagreements by working closely with sourcing managers to update andmaintain contract prices. Routinelyinvestigates and resolves complex pricing and purchasing issues withsuppliers.
•Ensure smooth and efficient flow of procurementorders, including but not limited to routine and capital purchase orders.
•Responsible for department Pro-Card purchases andreconciliation of statement.
•Supply JDE support relating to procurement issues.
•Perform monthly Policy Deployment responsibilities asassigned.
•PFC (Proposal For Change) tracking - maintain log,issue tracking numbers, publish weekly meeting agenda and results,Facilitate weekly meeting and update ECN tracking log for PolicyDeployment and TCI objectives.
•Support the PVE staff as assigned.
•Perform related duties and responsibilities asassigned by manager.
•Other duties may be assigned.

Supervisory Responsibilities:
This position does not have any supervisory responsibilities.

Education:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or 1 to 3 years related purchasing administration experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience with an emphasis in purchasing/procurement in a manufacturing environment.

Skills/Experience

Required/preferred skills:
•Ability to work independently and solve problems.
•Excellent computer skills including proficiency withMicrosoft Excel, Word, and Outlook are required.
•Possess ability to multi-task and manage manyresponsibilities and projects at one time.
•Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
•Ability to interact professionally with others and function effectively on a team
•Attendance during regular work hours and overtime as required

Required/preferred experience:
•Knowledge of JD Edwards or PeopleSoft

Travel
Travel is not required.
