The Islanders from Indianapolis (Steel pan, drums, ukulele – playing island songs) will perform a free concert at the Batesville Memorial Public Library, 7:00-9:00 PM. All ages are invited. After Hours Concerts are co-sponsored by the Batesville Area Arts Council and the Friends of the Library.
The Ron Jones Quartet from Louisville (Jazz on Saxophone, Organ, Bass, Drums) will perform a free concert as part of National Library Week and National Jazz Appreciation Month at the Batesville Memorial Public Library, 7:00-9:00 PM. A chance for local artists and photographers to enter recent works for a chance to win bragging rites and cash prizes. Categories include 2D fine art, 3D fine art, sculpture and photography. Awards announced at 7 pm. Venue TBD
