Chamber Holiday Parade – Home for the Holidays

Parade Line Up – Begins at 5 pm on Columbus Avenue between Huntersville and Mulberry.

The parade will start at the corner of Columbus and Mulberry in front of the Batesville Middle School.

We encourage all the participants to illuminate their floats, trucks, etc.  The more lights, the merrier it will be!

Think of all the ways you can decorate for the “Home for the Holidays” theme with color, lights, and sounds!

Pick up your registration at the Batesville Area Chamber at 301 Shopping Village, Batesville, IN or call 812-934-3101.

COVID Policy – Please social distance, sanitize often, and stay home if feeling sick.

REGISTRATION DEADLINE – ALL PARADE ENTRIES ARE FREE!
We request that all registration forms be received by Tuesday, November 26, 2021.

A CLEAN UP CREW ALONG THE ROUTE MUST BE PROVIDED FOR ALL ENTRANTS OF LIVE ANIMALS.

NO LIVE SANTAS ALLOWED – Santa will be the last entry in the parade. Please do NOT use a LIVE Santa on your float. This will only confuse small children watching for Santa at the end of the parade

FLOATS – “Home for the Holidays” – Evening Parade – We highly encourage entries to be illuminated (lights, glow sticks, etc.). The theme for decorating is “Home for the Holidays”. Chamber Gift Certificates will be awarded for Most Illuminated, Most Festive, Most Creative!
Float judging will begin at 5:30 pm. The more lights, the merrier it will be!

PARADE LINE-UP – Parade lineup opens at 5:00 pm from Huntersville to Columbus Avenue. Parade will begin in front of the Batesville Middle School. Entries must be in place and ready to go by 5:45 pm. Parade begins promptly at 6:00 pm.

CANDY/PROMOTIONAL – Solicitation for cash or ticket sales along the parade route are not allowed. Candy may be gently tossed underhand into the crowd along the parade route or handed out. If your group would like to hand out promotional material, it may be done person-to-person.
