26th Annual BAAC COMMUNITY ART SHOW

The Community Art Show has been a community tradition since 2001. Local adult artists (age 18 and up) enter their artwork in the show which is then judged. There are four main categories that artists can enter: fine art 2D, fine art 3D, applied art and photography. The top entries are awarded cash prizes in each category.

The Community Art Show (CAS) is open to area artists 18 years or older living in Ripley, Fayette, Franklin, Decatur, Dearborn, or Switzerland counties (or members of BAAC or made prior donations to the BAAC art auction) and offers opportunities for local artists to showcase their individual and collective talents in the Batesville area. All original art entered into the CAS will be displayed at the Batesville Memorial Public Library (BMPL). Entries are judged in fine arts 2D, fine arts 3D, applied arts, and photography.

People’s Choice Deadline = June 27, 2024

Vote for your favorite submission until 6:45 pm

Winners of each category, along with the Best of Show winner, and the People’s Choice Award will be publicly recognized during an award presentation held at BMPL. Cash prizes are awarded to winners. However, there must be at least 4 entries in each category for prize eligibility. Please encourage your friends and family to enter, vote, and support the winners!

Awards Presentation is June 27, 2024. Open to the community. Winning entries will be named at 7:00 pm

Please pick up your submission from BMPL between 5:30-7:00 pm (or make prior arrangements with Joe Kendall).
