Batesville Lions Club Tree Giveaway

The BATESVILLE (IN} LIONS CLUB is holding a ‘Tree Giveaway’ of Norway Spruce and Gray Dogwood trees to commemorate Earth Day and Arbor Day on Saturday April 22, 2023. We will be at the new Batesville Skatepark and Outdoor Adventure at The Plex (671 Pohlman Street, Batesville IN 47006} in conjunction with the City of Batesville’s grand opening of the new skatepark and walking trails. In case of inclement weather, the activities will take place in the Liberty Park Pavilion (716 S Park Avenue).
We will be distributing the trees around 2:00 PM after the ribbon cutting ceremonies are completed. There are only 100 of each ‘starter’ tree variety so we don’t expect our supply to last very long. First come, first served!
We will also be collecting used eyeglasses, hearing aids, hand-held cell phones and radios, and medical equipment. We also collect canned goods for the BAMA Food Pantry. Hope to see you there.
