Norman Rockwell art class – ages 9-13

Students will be looking at the intricacies of Norman Rockwell’s work with the human form and how he presented America in a way that championed respect, understanding, and empathy. His work spans decades but his impact has lasted far longer and we will be using that to develop human anatomy and figure drawing. These students will use all the tools taught about humans to develop an image that matches a cover of the Saturday Evening Post that Rockwell would have worked on.
