Batesville MYC along with the Coalition for Drug-Free Batesville, Safe Passage, Ripley County Purdue Extension, and the City of Batesville present WAVE camp. This week-long camp will EMPOWER the youth to LEAD their community with their positive VOICE to INFLUENCE the future.
Each day the 4th and 5th-grade campers will participate in exciting and educational activities that will teach them about leadership, decision-making, teamwork, and self-confidence. The implementation team is dedicated to creating a positive and safe environment that encourages self-discovery, creativity, friendship, and fun for the campers. Students will walk away from the week with a better understanding of who they are and the impact they can make throughout life.
Camp runs from Monday, June 19th to Friday, June 23rd, 2023 from 9 AM-5 PM at the Batesville Middle School. Lunch and snacks will be provided for the campers each day. More information coming soon on the cost of the camp. We do have a limited number of scholarships available if there is a need. Contact Kim at kim@drugfreebatesville.org or at 812-932-0591for more information.
