Cuddles for Clefts is an important organization to Cynthia Geisen, owner of Aunt Beas Gifts & Florals. In the summer of 2020, Cynthia and her husband Adam found out that they are expecting a new baby. In early 2021, the baby who is due in May was diagnosed with a unilateral cleft lip and palate. The baby will require surgery and a specialized level of care after birth. Ever since the diagnosis, both Cynthia and her husband Adam have been overwhelmed by the love and support shown by others in the cleft community. For this reason, all proceeds from this make and take event will be used to sponsor babies and young children so they can receive their cuddle buddy prior to their surgery date.

Kalanchoes are beautiful, vibrant, and easy to care for. Join us on Thursday, March 25th to plant your very own! We will also be making our very own foaming hand soap, using essential oils. Making your own soap is fun because you are able to customize your scent and you know exactly what ingredients are going into your soap.
You will start with “Aunt Bea” by picking out a kalanchoe and pot of your choice, you will then plant your kalanchoe in your chosen pot, we will have a variety of adornments for you to decorate your pot and plant with.
Next you will join the talented and bubbly Staci Schutte who will assist you in making and customizing your very own essential oil foaming hand soap. All soap ingredients and a container will be provided.
