van Gogh inspired art class

Students will learn about Impressionists and Post-Impressionists through the lens of Vincent van Gogh. Van Gogh’s use of impasto (layering of paint) and overall love for nature will be channeled into beautiful landscape paintings through real life and references. Students will create a painted landscape, developing skills in mark-making, three dimensional depth, and application of natural lighting. Class taught by Mr. Matthew Gadberry. Ages 9-13. $35 per student.
