Locally owned and operated company seeking IT Support Technician for our Batesville, IN location. The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and traits:
• Experience providing Technical Desktop, Service Desk and/or Support Services
• Manage operations in the field – as needed train or supervise others to train on software, hard and automation operations
• First line of contact for hardware, software and telecommunications problems
• Diagnose, evaluate, analyze and coordinate best repair/installation plan
• Experience working with a wide variety of different technology platforms, inclusive of hardware, software, desktop and network – including: desktops, laptops, printers, peripherals, Windows, Apple OS, Windows Server Active Directory, Microsoft Office, Office 365 and mobile devices
• Knowledge of LAN/WAN
• Knowledge of Network Subnetting including VLans
• Experience with routers, firewalls, switches and wireless access points
• Knowledge of VOIP Phone Systems
• Proficiency in using the Microsoft Office suite of applications including Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, Excel and Outlook
• CompTIA A+ Certification or better
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work independently or in a team environment
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Positive, flexible and self-motivated attitude
• Detail oriented with exceptional follow-up skills
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage time, priorities and multiple tasks
